....where our aim is to promote and support the traditional and rare breeds we are so passionate about.
From our smallholding in the Shropshire Hills three generations of the Littlehales family are involved with rearing and producing top quality meat from Gloucestershire Old Spot pigs, Llanwenog and Hill Radnor sheep. Not to mention the odd egg and jar of preserves.
We farm over 30 hectares and graze most of our sheep at Ironbridge World Heritage Site in Shropshire as part of Severn Gorge Countryside Trusts' management system and for South Shropshire Housing Assoc. To find out more visit our conservation grazing pages.
Our pigs free range at home, rootling around grassy paddocks as nature intended, being spoilt with tummy scratches and relaxing in muddy wallows. All our pork pigs are fattened outside too and have consistently returned from our local abattoir with a P2 rating (which means just the right amount of that delicious taste enhancing fat).
We are members of the Gloucestershire Old Spot Pig Breeders Club and the British Pig Association. On the sheep front we are members of the Hill Radnor Sheep flock book society and the Llanwenog sheep society.
